How to Upload & Manage Files in Nextcloud

Step 1: Access the Files Section

1. Log in to your Nextcloud account.

2. Click on Files from the left top bar—this is where all your files and folders are stored.

You can upload files using two methods:

1) Manual Upload

1. Click the ➕ New icon in the top bar.

2. Select Upload file and browse your computer.

2) Drag & Drop Method

2. Drag the file and drop it into the Nextcloud main panel.

1) Create a New Folder

1. Click the ➕ New icon and select Folder.

2. Enter a folder name and press Enter.

2) Move Files into Folders

• OR, click the three-dot menu next to a file, select Move/Copy, and choose the destination folder.

Step 4: Quickly Find Files

1. Use the Search bar at the top to locate files by name.

2. Click on Recent Files in the right sidebar to view recently uploaded or modified files.
